Expansion of the cryogenic grinding center for 3D printing powder

The company A. Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik AG with its strategic partner Air Liquide Deutschland GmbH has a great deal of know-how and a wealth of experience in the field of cryogenic grinding of plastic granules used in 3D printing.

Due to the large and constantly growing demand, together with our partner, the company Gotic Anlagenbau, we have expanded an already existing large-scale plant with a Gotic pin mill, including the integrated new E-Power screening technology from A. Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik AG, in which the electrostatics are completely eliminated will, as well as an intention of the fine portion. As a result, grain spectra between a lower and upper grain limit in the typical grain ranges of 20 µm to 200 µm can be produced.

The system is operated around the clock in 3-shift operation and therefore has a homogeneous and constant quality of the end products, which is essential for 3D printer powder.

In addition to the new advanced processing facility, our company has special analytical equipment in our laboratories. A. Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik AG has a chemical laboratory, a physical laboratory and a microbiological laboratory at its Schöneck site.

The entire system has a capacity of 1,200 tons with an average throughput of 160 kg/h.
