„Constructive Dialog with foresight“:

There couldn’t have been a better date. This year’s Logistics Day took place on April 11th 2019, together with the second edition of the “Forum Bundeswehr und Wirtschaft” after its launch in 2017. With the headline reading „Trends, Strategies and Potentials of Collaboration“ the joint event organized by the Bundesministerium der Verteidigung (BMVg, Ministry of Defense), Bundesverbandes Mittelständische Wirtschaft (BVMW, Ministry of Mid-Sized Business Economy) and the Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL, Ministry of Logistics), hosted by Axel Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik AG in the hessian Kilianstädten, Schöneck. More than 120 participants came to discuss different aspects of the topic „How mid-sized businesses and the Bundeswehr could benefit from each other“, in a constructive future oriented dialog.
Host Axel Ebbecke, professed reserve officer of the Bundeswehr, was happy to welcome the numerous business owners, CEOs and representatives of mid-sized companies from various business sectors, and introduced the Ebbecke Group’s history, development and the present.

Professor Dr.-Ing. Thomas Wimmer, Chairman of the BVL Board, had agreed to be the presenter at this event, welcoming the special guests and speakers of the day, presented the interesting agenda and familiarized the attendees with the topics. The Bundeswehr’s and civilian company’s positions, goals and orientation were to be discussed in the course of the event, as well as staff shortages, digitalization, new technology development, cyber threats, along with common interfaces and future cooperation.
