What is sampling?
Ebbecke attaches particular importance to sampling. In order to provide you with perfect results, random samples are taken from the goods to be processed and tested in a defined procedure. These samples are used to make reliable statements about the quality, properties or composition of a particular material.
Carrying out sampling:
- Solids – Individual samples are taken from solid substances and mixed to form composite samples. Sub-samples are taken from these samples. These are crushed and tapered. This finally produces the analysis sample.
- Liquid substances – Some partial quantities of liquid substances are removed. These are mixed into a composite sample in a bottle and analyzed in the laboratory.
- Gaseous substances – Samples of gas are drawn in using an aspirator, stored in collection tubes and analyzed.
