What is bulk material?

Types of bulk material

• Food: cereals, sugar, salt, coffee or flour
• Pigments, fillers, granulates or pellets

Bulk goods are often stored in silos or bunkers due to their material properties. Depending on the properties of the material, a distinction is made between free-flowing and cohesive bulk solids.
