What is a roll compactor?
Ebbecke’s roller compacting system allows powdery components to be compacted into granulate with particularly low dust levels. Several components with different properties can also be mixed and granulated together. All systems are equipped with vacuum feed, granulators and post-screening with recirculation of the fines. This enables the production of specific grain spectra with adjustable hardness, solubility and flow behavior.
Areas of application for the Roll Compactor:
- Production of granulates of defined hardness and abrasion resistance by means of infinitely variable contact pressure regulation.
- Guarantee of product homogeneity, avoidance of segregation.
- Production of low-dust granules for better handling and improved mixing properties.
- Compression of the container volume through compaction with the same active ingredient content
- Production of homogeneous flow properties of the granulate
