At Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik AG, we compact various materials with the help of our pelletizing systems. Powder or other bulk material can be compacted so tightly that it retains its final shape and can be handled carefully like a very brittle material. In addition, these materials can be compacted into granulate with a very low dust content.
Roll compactor
With the roll compactor from Ebbecke, powdery components can be compacted into pellets with particularly low dust levels. Several components with different properties can also be mixed and granulated together. All systems are equipped with vacuum feed, granulators and post-screening with recirculation of the fines. This enables the production of specific grain spectra with adjustable hardness, solubility and flow behavior.
Areas of application:
- Production of granulates of defined hardness and abrasion resistance by means of infinitely variable contact pressure regulation.
- Ensuring product homogeneity and avoiding segregation.
- Production of low-dust granules for better handling and improved mixing properties.
- Compression of the container volume through compaction with the same active ingredient content.
- Production of homogeneous flow properties of the granulate.
