MICRONIZATION / PULVERIZATION

The contract grinding or pulverization or granulation of different substances – for example for the manufacture of medical products, cosmetics or pharmaceuticals – fundamentally changes the substance properties due to surface enlargement and achieves the desired result for the end product, such as:
As a professional service provider in contract grinding, Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik offers the highest possible flexibility of our plant types, which are adapted to the materials to be micronized. Ebbecke has fine grinding centers with special mills for natural products, circular gas plants and cryo-milling systems for temperature-sensitive products in which cryogenic grinding – also known as cold grinding – is used. All our grinding machinery in bulk material processing is made of stainless steel and designed as closed systems with dosing devices, discharge with disposable filters, separators and bunkers
Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik carries out the fine grinding with the aid of the Fine Mill. This not only permits the production of narrow grain spectra and the sieving out of oversized particles, but also the addition of superplasticizers, which increases the storage stability of the product. Temperature-sensitive and lubricating products, on the other hand, are ground with our Cryogenic Mill in the area of contract grinding. These include foodstuffs, resins, seeds and other natural raw materials as well as fine chemicals that are micronized at very low temperatures. This process is described as cold grinding or cryogenic grinding. In cold grinding, the substance is cooled down by adding cryogenic gases, such as liquid nitrogen, and is therefore easier to grind. For the production of homeopathic remedies, herbal teas or medicines and other pharmaceutical products, we micronize herbs, tree bark, plant roots or leaves for our customers using the Drug Mill. A wide variety of plastic granulates, on the other hand, are ground and powdered using the high-performance Plastic Mill in contract grinding at Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik. If required, the ground finished product can also be dedusted in-process.
In order to remain flexible in production and distribution, we offer our customers individual support for peak loads that require extended fabrication. Our storage areas distributed throughout Germany enable the professional storage and interim storage of large quantities of goods in various containers. On request, Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik can also take over the process documentation of contract grinding or fine grinding as well as the handling of logistical and customs tasks as an all-round contract filler. Something that applies especially to micronization is: Our process engineers know that the product properties, process technologies and mixing ratios have been worked out by our industrial partners. They also know that this intellectual property often forms the capital stock of a business model or a successful product. Therefore, it goes without saying that all customer, product and processing data at Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik are treated with absolute confidentiality and non-disclosure, which also applies to contract grinding.
… that we can create granules and compactions according to your wishes?
With the different systems at Ebbecke, particle size ranges can be limited during granulation and compaction. This allows uniform grain shapes with homogeneous properties to be produced.
