High-quality dry micronization

The ESM series with system diameters from 170 to 500 mm ensures micronization of particle structures in the grain sizes 3.5 to 100 μm.

Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik AG’s individual sites have separate machines with a total capacity of 2,500 tons, which are equipped differently based on the individual hygiene standards.

The ESM 500 Hygiene for food, dental, animal health and pharmaceutical excipient applications guarantees aseptic micronization in fine grinding due to its closed design and hygienic equipment. The processed compressed air, oil-free and completely dried, is passed through sterile filters. Due to the lack of rotating components in the area in contact with the product, hygienic production is guaranteed from the outset. According to the Ebbecke standard, the plant is located in a separate room. The entire environment has GMP standards with hygiene sluices, pest monitoring, controlled air flow and GMP personnel hygiene measures.

The ESM 500 has comparable technical equipment, but is set up in a different environment so that the additional costs associated with the GMP standard are not incurred – a cost-effective solution.
