Complex products? No problem - contract screening with intelligent process technology

Innovative and proven technology

As a contract screening company that has been operating for many years, we know where our customers’ priorities lie when it comes to contract screening. Based on these needs, we have developed our Planoscreen and Planodry contract screening systems ourselves. With these sophisticated contract screening systems, we can not only screen without contamination, we can also dry the screened product in a nitrogen atmosphere or a pressure cascade.

In addition to the process engineering machines and systems developed by us, we also screen using systems from other well-known manufacturers. Depending on the bulk material supplied, completely different screening processes are used, such as tumbler screening, vibration screening, ultrasonic screening,
plansifter screening,
eddy current screening, vibration/
rotation screening and other methods of contract screening.

The combination of screening, sifting and drying offers you new possibilities for combined processing. Our newly developed ultrasonic screening system using the latest pulsation process in conjunction with the Engelsmann long-stroke screening process also offers you the option of fractionating difficult products in particle size ranges of 35-50 μm with a high degree of selectivity.

The right solution for demanding screenings

With our self-developed special systems, we can even process products that are difficult to screen, such as screenings with a low bulk density. Even sensitive screenings such as pyrogenic or precipitated silica are in the best hands with us. Thanks to the wide range of different screening processes in our contract compaction, we can even screen greasy and sticky products.

Our systems operate as a closed system that can be monitored and controlled from the outside without restriction, from feeding the bulk material to filling. Parts of the system that come into contact with the product are made of stainless steel. In addition, large lid openings and plug-in spigots in the dosing units allow the systems to be cleaned completely.

Technically perfect solutions

With the vibration/rotary screening system, Ebbecke offers the perfect technical solution for contract screening of difficult-to-screen materials, for example. These are often greasy, oily and specifically light products that are very difficult or impossible to screen on conventional systems because their technically delicate consistency causes them to clog and stick to the screen feeders.

With our linear sieve screening system, we also offer our customers contract screening with maximum flexibility. The ultra-modern linear sieve screening system allows a wide variety of products and grain sizes to be screened with complete flexibility – and in perfect grain sizes and with a greatly reduced proportion of faulty grains in the end product.

Consistent quality

During operation, the continuously operating sieve insert cleaning system ensures consistently high product quality and smooth operation of the system. This prevents or reduces clogging of the screen mesh. Air heaters and air coolers regulate the temperature of the product during processing. Integrable ascending separators enable additional separation of fine dust particles.

The results of our work can be examined directly on site in our scientific analysis laboratory. Modern measuring instruments and processes, including several Retsch and J. Engelsmann test sieving machines, laser diffraction devices and Alpine air jet sieves, ensure consistently high product quality during contract sieving.
