What is a Drug Mill?

A Drug Mill is, roughly speaking, a plant for grinding herbal raw materials that are used, for example, for the production of phytopharmaceuticals, teas or cosmetic products.

The Drug Mill used by Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik enables customers to have leaf drugs, herbs and plant roots economically ground externally. The clients thus save the investment in their own mills, which are only used to capacity seasonally – at the same time, they remain flexible with the production of teas, remedies or natural cosmetics.

The equipment meets the highest quality and performance requirements: All our grinding systems in bulk materials processing are made of stainless steel and designed as closed systems with dosing equipment, discharge with disposable filters, separators, and bunkers.
