Our company’s environmental footprint is of particular importance to us as part of our environmental management system, under the slogan “Let’s go green together.”
The environmental impact of our sites located in natural settings is continuously assessed for sustainability. It was particularly important to us that this be confirmed by an independent certifier. We expect the environmental management system to deliver financial, ecological, and health-promoting benefits. The wildlife population on our Schöneck plant grounds deserves special attention. In this regard, we annually designate an “Animal of the Year,” for which special measures are implemented on our plant grounds.
In 2025, the hedgehog is the Animal of the Year, and winter shelters will be set up throughout the entire company grounds.
