From September 9 to 11, 2026, the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, visited the Federal Republic of Germany. It was the first state visit by a UAE president to Germany. A key event on the agenda was the Germany–UAE Economic Forum on September 11 at the Bayerischer Hof in Munich, which brought together business leaders and investors from both countries.
