New production plant for spray drying and special processes at the Hirzenhain site

The company A. Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik AG is expanding its range of products to include the special area of ​​spray drying. For this purpose, a building at the Hirzenhain site was acquired as a completely new production site.

It is an ideal building for this application with a 6-storey construction and a total usable area of ​​8,500 m². The delivery ramps connected to the building for loading and unloading trucks also ensure the processing of larger storage and production quantities. A “spray drying” competence center is to be set up at the site in cooperation with the surrounding universities. The competence center consists of a total of 7 spray dryers, a technical center with *3 technical spray dryers, a quality laboratory and training rooms.

Due to the close cooperation with the universities, the opportunity should also be created here to carry out training courses and seminars on this topic. All spray dryers are created according to the hygiene concept, including special hygienic HEPA air filters for the process air drawn in, indirect heating to avoid possible contamination from fire exhaust gases and completely separate individual systems.

This gives a high degree of flexibility in order to be able to represent different hygiene standards.

The systems will be built successively in consultation with our customers in the current financial year and in 2022. In addition to the topic of spray drying, various special processes already developed by A. Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik AG and existing systems will be located there in order to expand the range of offers for our customers in this special system area. For existing customers, the new location also offers additional logistics space in order to be able to optimally store large campaigns or quantities of raw materials.
