MOLTEN PRODUCTS IN PELLET FORM
Producing dustless and easily dosable solid forms
Our customers require their molten product to be turned into pellets, flakes or coarse platelets, this is what we offer through our contract pelletizing services. By the continuous process of turning the molten product into pellet form, with the use of cooling conveyor belts, we realize an efficient transformation process with homogenous quality.
The use of various cooling belt brands and output systems also warrants an individual influence on the pellet shape and therefore the final product. The pre-material can be delivered via tanker truck and be directly transferred into one of our 30 m³ tanks inside our building. All tanks and lines are heated all the way up to the feeding rollers. Recirculation of the tanks prevents separation. The solidified product is later removed from the cooling belt by means of an extraction blade and then extracted by a full-blade conveying screw.
A pneumatic suction system then warrants post-cooling of the product within a closed system. As an alternative bespoke packaging units, such as buckets and cans, can also be implemented via inclined conveyor belts.
Pelletizing with know-how and high-tech
Depending on the product, industry and requirements, we work with various feed systems, such as the efficient rotoformer process. Additional equipment for grinding or crushing is not required. This reduces energy consumption, protects the environment and reduces your costs. The granulates produced in this way are dimensionally stable, have a homogeneous grain spectrum and are practically dust-free. The products granulated at Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik are also free-flowing, easy to transport, mix, store or process.
Handling from the initial state of the material to the finished pastille is delicate and technically complex. In order to achieve an end product with the properties desired or pre-formulated by the customer as cost-effectively as possible, several prerequisites must be met. First, the engineers and other personnel need a profound grade of process-technological expertise. Secondly, high-tech must be used, because consistently high product quality can only be achieved with modern pelletizing machines.

Uncomplicated: incoming and outgoing goods management
The delivery of the molten products can be carried out with tanker trucks as well as in IBCs. Two heated stainless steel tanks with a capacity of 30 m³ each are available at Ebbecke Verfahrenstechnik AG for proper intermediate storage. After pastillation, the end product is filled into the desired containers by suction pneumatics. These can be big bags, octabins, drums, sacks, cardboard boxes or even small containers for the end consumer.
