The process engineering at Ebbecke from Bruchköbel describes the technical processes which are based on chemical and physical techniques. In the process, raw materials are turned into a product which the customer can process further for his own purposes.
The study of process engineering is the combination of engineering and science, which has many points of contact with mechanical and industrial engineering, metrology and automation technology, biotechnology, agriculture and food technology, but also with medicine, aerospace and oceanographic research. The fields of activity range, for example, from process-integrated environmental protection in chemical production to exhaust air and wastewater treatment, soil remediation, waste utilization, recycling processes and food technology.
